One of my most common writing errors is not incorporating my own opinion into my writing. I have realized that I do this and found it very hard to be able to get my opinion into my writing, I never knew where in my paper to put it or how I should say it, so most of the time I would not include my opinion at all. I have realized that this was one of my main errors in my writing and I have worked to fix that and be able to confidently incorporate my opinion into my papers. For example, in my first paper about Carol Dweck vs Lukianoff/Haidt I really gave none of my own opinion, I did have my own thoughts on the prompt and the sources but I was not good at voicing my opinion. After writing that essay I got so many good pointers on how to incorporate my own opinion into my writing and really focus on being able to fix that. By paper 2 I was feeling much more confident about getting my opinion out there and I think I did a good job for it being one of my first times.
